tail
back

Ashford

lorries
and cars
will be
coming

adequate
provision
for KIG
lorries
and cars
on the
proposal
- where
are
these
going to
park up,
including
lorries
awaiting
their
time
slots! |

Noise
from the
site
especially
containers
unloading
at all
hours,
night
movement
of
trains,
plus the
dominance
of
enormous
buildings
and
sidings
within
immediate
proximity
of
domestic
properties
in
Bearsted. |

Proximity
to
Bearsted
Green
Conservation
Area of
such a
totally
incompatible
development,
including
lights
and
noise. |

|
|
|
• |
Unsatisfactory
coverage
of
alternative
sites,
particularly
when the
Secretary
of
State,
in
approving
Howbury
Park,
Dartford,
for a
National
and
Regional
Distribution
site,
identified
that the
KIG site
was not
acceptable
for this
purpose,
and that
proximity
to the
point of
entry to
UK
(Ashford/Dover)
or to
the M25
is a
requirement. |
