We have now received
confirmation that the Public Inquiry
will commence on the 15th September
2009. It is expected to last 24 days ie
6 weeks. Anyone may speak at the
Inquiry, either as an expert witness or
as a concerned member of the public.
Those who wish to speak on a
professional basis will need to submit
6
copies of their Statement of Case to the
Inspector by 29th May. A Detailed Proof
of Evidence must then be sent to the
Inspector 4 weeks before the Inquiry
start date. Be aware that you may need
to spend a considerable time at the
Inquiry and you must be prepared to be
cross-examined on your evidence. Those
members of the public who wish to speak
will need to attend the first day of the
Inquiry to register, and you will then
be given a date on which to speak.
Further guidance is available if needed,
so please email us at
secretary@stopkig.org, and we will
contact you about the procedure to be
followed, and how the Inquiry process
works. |
